Fit but you know it

Yep. I’ve been busy. Lately, life has consisted of going to work, eating dinner, watching a little TV, then going to bed. Even the weekends have been busy. I’m still working on the Freezer Project at work, although it is close to being done. I figure 2 to 3 more weeks. Then I can go back to only working full-time.

I booked our airline tickets to Thailand today. I can’t wait, but I guess I’ll have to. I didn’t put it off any further that I had to. Only one day separates the start of Vanessa’s summer vacation and our departure. I’m looking forward to seeing my dad, seeing a new place, and R E L A X I N G. I like my job a lot, but two weeks away would be great.

We went to Adam and Jennie’s wedding last weekend. Nice ceremony and a great reception. I never took advantage of an open bar before, but I sure did this time. I was able to experiment and learned there is a HUGE difference between top shelf and crap. As the last song came on I was ready for bed. Luckily I foresaw this and booked a room. I love the beds at Sheraton hotels. It was great to see Mike and Caroline.

During the ceremony I thought the priest, father, minister, or whatever you want to call him said some really interesting things about marriage. It really touched me and I have decided to start trying to be less of a dick. It will take a while, but I am trying. After the ceremony I started to talk to Vanessa about what he said since it was so special to me. She told me she zoned out while he was talking. Bummer.

It wouldn’t be a blog update without Barney. Barney is fine. Still not the best in the world, but I think he has improved. He still has problems turning reports in on time and hasn’t even started on a project that will make his job easier. Regardless, my job would be much tougher without him.

I sure hope home prices drop in the next two years. How depressing.
