Need your advice…

I can’t fall asleep with the TV on and Vanessa can’t fall asleep with the TV off. This seems to be a no win situation. I thought about getting her wireless headphones or me earplugs, but neither sound comfortable, especially once we fall asleep. Any ideas?

  • If she's tired, she'lll fall asleep with or without the TV. Take the TV out of the bedroom. Bedrooms are for sleeping.

  • Get so drunk everynight that you pass out. The t.v. will no longer be an issue. You could also take sleeping pills but I'd stick with booze.

If your t.v. has a timmer set it for 30 minutes. If she doesn't fall asleep by then too bad.

Turn the volume on the t.v. up so loud that you go deaf. Then the t.v. is a non-issue.

    Sleep at your girlfriend's house.

Tell her she can watch t.v. but you get to pick what you watch. Then choose Joey. She'll stop watching t.v.

  • Joey is a good choice, either that or Kelsey Grammar's Sketch Show. P - U that one stinks to high heaven!

  • JOEY is funny, so that won't put her. If you want to use a health arguement, it's actually not good for your sleep and mental health to watch TV before going to bed. I read some article the other day about getting good sleep and it recommends that you don't watch TV up to an hour before going to bed. Otherwise you won't get a good nights sleep. Otherwise, Page I suggest a mild sleeping tablet. Luckily, I take my medication before going to bed that is already loaded with sleeping agents so it doesn't bother me when my partner stays up late to watch TV. Lastly, how about a compromised. If either of you are not willing to bend then switch off. Then you will each not be able to sleep half of the time instead of all of the time.

  • A good wife should be tuckered out
from all the cooking and cleaning.

  • I second that. Wear them pants with authority, Page!
