Halloween 2004

I'll add more pictures tomorrow, but I posted one of Ali G and Madonna above. They won the "Best Couple" costume. Vanessa and I went as a newlywed couple. She wore a mock wedding dress and I wore a suit. We were all bloody and bruised up to prove to all of the non-believers how blissful marriage really is. Just to add a little more to it she carried around my balls in a glass jar and she had a “special bruise” in the middle of her forehead.

The party at Ryan’s was fun, but it was evident that our average age is now 30. No one was out of control or completely obnoxious. Then again we left around 1:30 am, so something may have happened after we left. Overall, I was impressed with the number of people who dressed up and how creative they were. It was strange seeing so many of the people who read my blog and most of the people whose blogs I read at one place. In some ways I felt like there wasn’t much to talk about since we know what going on with each other, but it also gave us something to talk about. It was particularly nice to see Michael Jung from www.rightonbro.com . We have met multiple times before, but until now we have never had much to talk about.

The next day my foot was hurting and swollen from standing on it so much at the party, so I spent 90% of my day on the couch, with my foot up, watching all of my favorite football teams lose. I felt a little bad sitting on the couch while Vanessa did dishes, went to the store, and did homework while I watched TV. I can’t believe I have to wear this for another 3 ½ weeks!!!
Tune in tomorrow for more Halloween pictures and an update on my movie watching quest (I bet you can’t wait!!!).
