Thanksgiving

I would have to say that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I adopted Groundhog’s Day (before the movie came out) as my favorite, because it is often overlooked, but I actually enjoy Thanksgiving the most (as long as Donald isn’t included). I'm especially happy, because I get Thursday and Friday off this year. At every other company I worked for I would have to work on Friday. This will be nice.

This year Vanessa and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our condo. It will be our first time. Since everyone was so generous for our wedding, we have a fully stocked (and extremely small) kitchen and can make just about anything. I am planning on cooking the turkey on the BBQ this year. I’ve had it this way before and I think it turns out the best. I know deep-fried is the fad right now, but I don’t think it’s that amazing.

I can’t wait! Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries, sweet pickles, olives, wine, and a surprise dessert! Yummy!
